Front Desk/Scheduler
Surg Center of Silver Spring is looking for a Part‑Time Front Desk/Scheduler.

Our technology allows surgeons to perform procedures in the specialty areas of Otolaryngology, Neurosurgery, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, and General Surgery.
Responsibilities- Answer phones and greet patients and visitors.
- Schedule surgeries and coordinate schedules between the surgery center and physician offices.
- Gather all detailed information for the patient’s chart (type of procedure, supplies, special equipment required, insurance information, etc.) and enter it into the computer system.
- Confer with OR Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, and/or Administrator to determine the status of scheduled surgeries and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
- Cross‑train to fill in and effectively perform all other job descriptions.

$22.70 to $30.77 per hour.
Required Skills- High school education and/or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of related experience (training or equivalent combination of education and experience)
