Your Mission: As an Employment Support Manager at Rock Creek, you are responsible for overseeing and advancing employment programs within both the Developmental Disabilities and Behavioral Health Departments. This role includes hiring, training, and supervising staff; monitoring performance; ensuring billing accuracy and compliance; and supporting program growth and expansion.
The Interdepartmental Employment Supports Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining a strong, effective employment programs that supports individuals with disabilities and mental illness in obtaining and sustaining meaningful employment, exploring higher education opportunities, and identifying jobs aligned with their skills, interests, and goals. Collaboration with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) and the delivery of pre-employment training are also essential components of this position.

What You'll Do:
- Oversee and ensure the successful creation and implementation of employment programs for the Developmental Disabilities Department and the Behavioral Health Department.
- Stay updated on Medicaid regulatory requirements, CARF, DDA, BHA, DDA waivers, and any changes that may impact these employment programs within the regulatory requirements.
- Hire, train, and manage staff members involved in the employment programs.
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with billing requirements and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DORS) to maximize employment opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
- Assist individuals in exploring their employment interests and matching them with suitable job opportunities.
- Provide pre-employment tasks and training, such as resume writing, dressing for success, and interview skills.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers to create employment opportunities for program participants.
- Work closely with the Developmental Disabilities Department, Behavioral Health Department, and other relevant departments to coordinate and align employment programs with the overall organizational goals.
- Conduct regular evaluations and assessments of the employment programs to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Develop strategies to expand and enhance the employment program, including exploring higher education interests and career advancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs in the employment sector.
