Per Diem​/PRN Registered Nurse Med Surg​/Telemetry

Overview

Trinity Health First Choice is seeking a per diem / PRN nurse (RN) for Med Surg / Telemetry in Silver Spring, Maryland.

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or across multiple locations and regions.
• Apply professional practice elements:
  Assess, Identify Outcomes/Solutions, Plan, Implement, and Evaluate.
• Work independently within license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation, decisions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to contribute to quality improvement.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and embrace new ideas and cultural differences while managing competing priorities.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Telemetry, and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department, and Behavioral Health.
• Required to have and maintain credentials per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, etc.). BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be obtained through the American Heart Association.

Pay Range: $54.00 – $57.00 per hour (based on assignment option and shift). Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary by location.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements of a First Choice Nurse: registered nurse with a license in the state(s) you will work; minimum of 2 years (depending on specialty); cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
