Position details
:
We are looking to staff a part-time companion care position for a client who uses a cane and has dementia experience
. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with the potential for increased hours. The client has a dog
.

NOTE:

The schedule may expand to Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m., depending on the client’s needs.

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping (Laundry)
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
