• About the Unit: Holy Cross Health provides compassionate, patient-centered birthing care with advanced monitoring and pain-management techniques.

• Full‑Time
• Reporting to the Director of Labor & Delivery
• Performs patient care duties delegated by the RN related to patients’ personal needs, comfort, and safety.

• Provides hygiene, mobility, and procedural care across various age groups.
• Proficient in setting up and using respiratory and cardiac equipment.
• Utilizes aseptic techniques for various procedures, maintaining isolation standards.
• Assists Anesthesiologist with epidural and spinal anesthesia placement.
• Maintains anesthesia supplies, equipment, and cleanliness in patient areas.
• Orders and stocks routine and specialized supplies.
• Monitors vital signs and reports to RN for various patient populations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a nursing assistant by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
