Toler Financial Group, a small independent wealth management and financial planning firm, is seeking a Client Services Associate to assist us in our mission of helping clients achieve their financial goals. We serve our community as independent fiduciaries with client-centered financial planning and investment services.

full-time, in-office position based in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland

  • Compensation: The salary range for this position is $55,000 – $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

About

the Role

As a Client Services Associate, you will play a key role in supporting clients and ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, accuracy, and care. You will work closely with internal teams to provide excellent service, resolve client inquiries, and ensure a smooth client experience from onboarding through ongoing account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client phone and email inquiries, requests, and service needs.
  • Support financial advisors in daily client service activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing client materials, and processing transactions.
  • Support client onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Support clients with transactions, service changes, or account adjustments as needed.
  • Proactively follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for enhanced service.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years work experience in client services and/or administrative support, required; prior experience in financial services, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/years of experience, required.
  • Strong alignment with Toler Financial Group’s mission and values.
  • Ability to commute daily to the Toler Financial Group office in Silver Spring, MD.
  • Clean background check.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Personable, warm, and professional interpersonal communication throughout all client interactions (in-person, phone, and email).
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset; adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a values-focused, team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with a CRM plus.
