Our company is searching for an exceptional Property Accountant with a knack for numbers and a love for real estate. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our extensive property portfolio. The role requires a deep understanding of property accounting, exceptional analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

A strong grasp of Yardi, Lease, and Year End Close or equivalent is a must.

• Managing the financial aspects of our property portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Utilizing Yardi software for property management accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Conducting lease administration and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
• Performing year‑end close procedures and preparing financial statements.
• Analyzing financial data and providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing requirements.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors to facilitate financial audits.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in property accounting.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in property accounting or a related role.
• Proficiency in Yardi property management software.
• Extensive experience in lease administration and year‑end close procedures.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non‑financial personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
