ECS is seeking a Logistics Support Program Analyst to ideally work in Silver Spring, MD but open to other locations.
We are currently seeking an organized, motivated Logistics Support Program Analyst to join our team. You will play a crucial role in support of the office of Platform Infrastructure Acquisition Division (PIAD) within the Office of Marine and Aviation Operations for NOAA and will be working in support of NOAA new ship construction projects currently being built and being planned. The candidate will support various new ship design and construction programs and their transition into operations.
You will provide broad programmatic and acquisition management support for current and future projects. Must be willing to and capable of performing various technical, acquisition, programmatic, risk, and configuration functions as required.
Proactively work with clients and stakeholders to identify emerging program requirements, develop support plans/schedules and draft various acquisition documents. You will coordinate/facilitate/monitor multi-disciplined project teams that may include government, subcontractors, vendors and peers.
This position is expected to require travel < 10% of the time.
The ideal candidate will be a quick thinker, capable of independently managing projects, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in remote areas unsupervised. This role demands strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to various challenges and responsibilities.
What to expect:
- Work closely PIAD lifecycle and logistics leadership and the project management team(s) to support NOAA ship construction programs and infrastructure projects.
- Performs logistical support analysis. Perform and guides logistics tasks, and reviews work products for accuracy and adherence to applicable standards and requirements.
- Multitask effectively, managing multiple responsibilities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination between various project elements.
General Description of Benefits
- Associates degree in a technical or management or applicable discipline. Five (5) years of programmatic experience.
- Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
