Senior Systems Integration Engineer – Job Description
The Senior Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for architecting, implementing, deploying, and sustaining complex enterprise systems that underpin mission‑critical operations. This role involves hands‑on work with RF and FORNSAT technologies, virtualization platforms, Linux environments, GOTS applications, and Windows Server infrastructure. The engineer ensures seamless system integration, secure configurations, and high‑availability operations across diverse technical domains.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and hands‑on engineering for the design, development, integration, and testing of RF and FORNSAT hardware/software systems.
- Architect, configure, and maintain systems utilizing Government Off‑The‑Shelf (GOTS) products.
- Deliver virtualization support across cloud‑based and on‑premises environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, ensuring system reliability, performance, and security compliance.
- Manage, deploy, and integrate GOTS products within complex enterprise systems.
- Conduct Windows Server administration, including optimization, security hardening, and automation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to support robust system designs and operational effectiveness.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce best practices for system security, monitoring, and documentation.
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a qualified engineering discipline plus 14 years of systems engineering experience OR
- High School Diploma/GED plus 19 years of general systems engineering experience.
- Technical Requirements:
- Proven experience integrating and configuring GOTS products.
- Hands‑on experience with FORNSAT systems and system‑level integration.
