The Microelectronics, Design, and Applications (MDA) organization is seeking a Staff Factory Change Control Engineer to join our team and pioneer new approaches, design and implement technologies for a computer integrated manufacturing system. You’ll work in a fast-paced team environment alongside physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to make these technologies a reality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create procedures and best practices for implementing controlled changes for various components within a new Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) system. Components include but are not limited to Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), Document Control, product specification limit management, operating procedure and certification management

• Contribute to projects aimed at optimizing and standardizing factory system setup procedures, change implementation and training plans

• Work collaboratively with other engineering teams to understand the needs for change control.

• Help to identify software and systems needed for successful change control procedures

This position will serve on-site in Linthicum/ Annapolis Junction, MD.

This position is contingent upon Clearance.

Basic Qualifications for Staff Factory Change Control Engineer:

• Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years' relevant experience; 10 years' experience with a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline; 8 years with PhD in a STEM discipline.

• Understanding of business processes, best practices, and QMS components for managing changes in a semiconductor or microelectronics fabrication line
