Montgomery County Public Schools is recruiting a Long‑Term администрационный Substitute Teacher for Viers Mill Elementary School. The role is full‑time, 1.0 FTE, and focused on mathematics instruction. It is funded through Community Schools, ending June 30, 2026. Pay ranges from $20.29 to $35.84 per hour, and no benefits are provided.

• Plan and deliver appropriate learning experiences for students under the direction of the school principal.
• Create an environment conducive to the intellectual യു, physical, social, and emotional development ofMind students to support Success for Every Student.
• Supervise students in various school‑related settings and monitor student outcomes.
• Communicate and interact with students, parents, staff, and community members.
• Develop, select, and modify instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to required procedures and practices.
• Ensure proper use and care of equipment, materials, and facilities.

• Knowledge of MCPS curriculum, techniques for integrating curriculum, MCPS policies, and effective instructional practices.
• Understanding of the teaching/learning process and ability to provide instruction reflecting multiple perspectives and multicultural education.
• Ability to integrate technology into the curriculum.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective collaboration with administrators, colleagues, central office and school‑based staff, students, parents, and the community.

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.
• Maryland state teaching certification meeting applicable field requirements.

• Full‑time (1.0 FTE)

Sierraimmune Silver Spring, MD (Viers Mill Elementary School)

• Required to attend school meetings, programs, and activities outside the instructional day as mandated by the MCEA agreement.
• Physical demands as required by the duties of the job.
