We are looking for a talented dynamic, self-starter ESG and Sustainability Intern to assist in research and strategic planning efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity for hands‑on experience in sustainability and ESG practices within a U.S. and global operations context while working in a casual professional work environment. The Intern will review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance the company's sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.
The Intern will work independently and in a team to fulfill organizational goals and initiatives related to ESG and Sustainability projects and corporate strategy.
- College Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, Data Analytics, Sustainability, Engineering, or other related disciplines
- Interest in developing an understanding or applying previous knowledge towards the topics of corporate sustainability, international business, and/or environmental disclosure
- High level of commitment to developing excellence in technical and/or business skills
- Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- As an Intern, you will report to and take direction from the ESG and Sustainability Team Lead
- ESG data management, analysis, and reporting for global operations in cooperation with cross‑cutting teams
- Assist with the Company's work with annual sustainability reporting for clients
- Desk‑based and internet research related to ESG and sustainability topics
- Provide general support for operational and sustainability needs
Hours:20‑40 hours/week, including weekly planning meeting with supervisor
Compensation:$20/hour
Education:
- Bachelor’s (Preferred)
