Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Virtual Assistant/ Remote Admin
Winn Companies is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at The Trails at King Farm
, a 434-unit residential community located in Rockville, MD
.
In this role, you will perform all day-to-day leasing and marketing activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, and lease renewals. You will also provide outstanding service to customers, residents, and clients, while always maintaining budgeted occupancy at the highest attainable rents.
The pay range for this role is $22.00-$23.00 per hour dependent on experience. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule:
Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with the ability to work Saturdays when needed.
- Provide office support, including maintaining files, ordering office supplies, handling incoming and outgoing mail, and assisting with overnight shipping.
- Support team members with accurate, timely expense reports and detailed travel arrangements.
- Handle mail distribution and assist with document preparation (scanning, emailing, copying, etc.).
- Manage building access, employee badges, and onboarding support for new team members (both in-office and remote).
- Obtain work orders from residents and document the work orders appropriately.
- Assist with department operations, including creating department check requests, filing paid invoices, preparing organizational charts and presentations, booking meetings and setting up conference rooms.
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and ensure everyone who walks through our doors feels welcome.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Basic familiarity with computer systems and web-based applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with travel coordination and expense reporting.
- A welcoming, can-do attitude and a professional presence.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience with property management software.
- Prior experience in leasing.
