Position Overview:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care by assisting in surgical procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures

• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols

• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures

• Monitor patient condition and respond to intraoperative needs

• Perform accurate documentation and maintain compliance with hospital policies

• Ensure patient safety and advocate for patient needs throughout the surgical process

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient surgical workflows

Requirements:

• Active RN license

• Minimum 2+ years of Operating Room experience

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

• Strong knowledge of perioperative standards and patient safety practices

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced surgical environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
