Distribution Supervisor

Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for Signal Hill, CA. The role oversees daily delivery routes for product delivery trucks.

• Pay range: $69,750 - $88,000 yearly (depending on experience)

• Lead and manage drivers on daily operations and plan tasks based on production schedules and delays.
• Ensure packaged and cryogenic products are delivered to meet customer needs; ensure all HAZMAT and driver documents are complete and filed.
• Take initiative in a fast‑paced environment to get things done efficiently.
• Monitor shipping efficiency and resources to satisfy customers.
• Train the Distribution Team on Linde's Safety & Quality standards.
• Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
• Contribute to Linde's safety culture by demonstrating safety standards.
• Efficiently manage workforce scheduling and training.
• Manage drivers' daily hours of service, ensuring compliance with Linde and regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior DOT experience required.
• Minimum 2+ years leadership experience in Distribution, Logistics, or Transportation.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA requirements.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to motivate teams and manage conflict.
• Basic PC skills.
• Ability to interpret DOT and internal compliance policies.
• Effective organizational and listening skills.
