Professor UAS in Energy Economics

To strengthen the Business Administration and Energy and Environmental Engineering degree programmes and the Institute of Energy and Environment, the School of Management is seeking a

• Teaching at Bachelor’s, Master’s and continuing education level in economics and energy
• Active participation in the Institute’s applied research and development activities
• Acquisition, management and implementation of research projects in the fields of energy and economics, in particular in cooperation with industrial and institutional partners
• Contribution to the dissemination and exploitation of research results through publications and conference presentations
• Participation in the interdisciplinary education of students in business administration and engineering

• PhD or significant research experience equivalent to a doctoral degree
• Research experience and sound knowledge of Swiss academic stakeholders in the field of energy economics
• Excellent understanding of the operation and regulation of energy markets
• Good understanding of economic stakeholders in the Swiss energy sector
  
  Ability to teach at different levels (Bachelor’s, Master’s and continuing education)
• Autonomy and initiative in acquiring and managing research projects, including the preparation of funding proposals and the management of internal and external partnerships
• Native speaker of French or German, with very good command of the second language and of English

• Contribute to the energy transition and the decarbonisation of the economy within an interdisciplinary institute
• Educate and train the next generation of economists and engineers specialising in energy
• Develop your own research agenda in coordination with other professors at the Institute of Energy and Environment
