Security Officer - Part Time Flex Patrol

Position: Security Officer - Flex Patrol in Sierra Vista, AZ. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a high-technology aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production or lab-adjacent areas, parking lots, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify identification/authorization as required by post orders, and report irregularities through approved channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with evacuations, medical response coordination, and/or notifications per site procedures.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
