The Registered Nurse – RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for a given population based upon age‑specific and cultural needs. This is done in a collaborative multidisciplinary approach that embraces quality and safety. The RN ensures quality of care by measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following hospital philosophies and standards of care set by the Arizona State Board of Nursing and other governing agency regulations.

The RN coordinates the delivery of patient care for the Rehab Unit, facilitates problem solving with staff members, and communicates necessary issues to nursing administration and the Program Manager.

• Associate’s Degree Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
• Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN license.
• AHA BLS required. If you hold another BLS, you will have 30 days from your hire date to obtain AHA BLS.
• EHAC/ACS Training assigned within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• NIH Stroke Scale assigned and completed within 30 days of hire.
