Position SummaryThe Medical‑Surgical Department is a 34‑bed unit. The RN assesses the patient’s condition and nursing care needs, sets goals, and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs. The RN develops individual nursing care plans, implements and revises them as needed, evaluates patient care outcomes, collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees, administers medications, treatments, and therapies, communicates with patients, oversees the provision of care, provides patients and/or family with instruction and education relevant to the condition, and accurately documents nursing observations, assessments, medications, treatments, and other care given.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred. - Must have an active Arizona or Compact RN License.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Must obtain ACLS and CPR within 90 days of hire.
