Hiring Cath Lab Registered Nurses (Cath Lab RN) to provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. The Cath Lab RN will support patient preparation, intra-procedure monitoring, medication administration, recovery coordination, and patient education while collaborating closely with cardiologists, anesthesia providers, radiology/cath lab technologists, and multidisciplinary teams.

This role requires strong critical thinking, rapid response skills, and experience working in fast-paced procedural environments where patient safety and clinical accuracy are essential.

• Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing cath lab diagnostic/interventional procedures
• Prepare patients pre-procedure: assessments, labs review, consent verification, and patient education
• Start IV lines, administer medications, and manage ordered treatments per protocols
• Monitor patient condition during procedures including vital signs, rhythm changes, and sedation response
• Assist physicians with procedural workflow as needed and maintain a sterile field
• Recognize and respond to procedural complications quickly and effectively
• Provide post-procedure care: monitoring, vascular site checks, hemostasis management, recovery support
• Ensure accurate documentation in EMR and cath lab procedural records
• Collaborate with physicians, cath lab techs, recovery/PACU teams, and inpatient units for safe transfers
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention, patient safety standards, and quality requirements
• Support departmental performance improvement activities and clinical excellence initiatives

• Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) - Required
• License: Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License - Required
• Experience: 1-2 years of RN experience required (Cath Lab / ICU / ER / Telemetry preferred)

• Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology RN experience
• Telemetry / cardiac rhythm interpretation experience
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Critical care or emergency nursing background
• Strong knowledge of post-procedure recovery and hemostasis management
• Ability to function under pressure in a critical, time-sensitive procedural setting
