We are seeking a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Sierra Vista, AZ. The PACU RN will be responsible for monitoring patients as they recover from anesthesia, ensuring their comfort, safety, and stability during the post-operative phase. This role is ideal for nurses early in their career who are looking to expand their clinical expertise in a supportive environment.
Basepay range
$67,073.00/yr - $85,569.00/yr
Location- Country: United States of America
- Shift: To be discussed at the time of interview
$67,073 – $85,569 (based on experience and qualifications)
Must-Haves- Education: Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) required
- Licensure: Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience (PACU or related clinical experience preferred)
- Monitor post-surgical patients during recovery from anesthesia
- Assess and document patient vitals, pain levels, and recovery progress
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous PACU, critical care, or ER experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
