Overview
Our team is seeking a qualified help desk support technician to support one of the largest, most collaborative enterprise service desks in the defense space.
Responsibilities
- Resolve technical problems (Tier
1) and answer queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems. - Answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
- Apply basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes and recommend solutions to correct common failures.
- Escalate complex problems to higher tiers as required.
- Document all customer interactions within a ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance, current A+, Net+ or Sec+ certificate. If they have one of the certificates, sponsorship for a clearance for this role may be available.
- 0–6 months of help desk support or customer service experience for the Department of Defense/military with a current Sec+, Net+, or A+.
- Office 365 fundamental knowledge is a plus. Ability to communicate well with both internal and external individuals and provide a high level of customer service.
- Fundamental networking knowledge (as demonstrated by the A+ certification) and ability to escalate higher-level issues to the appropriate team members.
- Ability to work shift work including days, swings, mids and weekend shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.53/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, benefits may include:
