Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in the beautiful high desert of southeastern Arizona, serving Sierra Vista, Ft. Huachuca, Cochise County and surrounding communities. The hospital was founded in 1963 and expanded to a 177,000 square foot facility at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015.
How You'll ContributeThe Manager of Intensive Outpatient Services is responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programs for patients receiving treatment for psychiatric and substance use issues in the outpatient setting. Responsibilities include ensuring high quality clinical care, integrating clinical functions, supervising family and group counseling, developing and supervising various therapeutic treatment modalities/processes, overseeing discharge planning for optimal post-IOP/PHP transition, and ensuring that clinical documentation is current and meets regulatory and other standards.

Applicants should have:
- Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work or is qualified by education and experience in the social services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance use issues.
- Current unencumbered Clinical Social Work or Counseling License is required
- Previous experience in outpatient healthcare is required.
- Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles is required.
- CPR Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
