Behavioral Health Technician
Shift: Part-time / PRN

Under the supervision of nursing staff, provides direct patient care and helps maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
Reports to:
Senior Behavioral Health Director. FLSA:
Non-exempt.
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required - Certifications:
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) must be current within 45 days of hire;
Handle with Care (HWC) must be current within 45 days of hire - License: CNA preferred
Assists patients with activities of daily living; provides or assists with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions; observes and records patient behavior and activities; reports changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan; provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
