Medical Assistant (MA)
Well-respected Community Health Center seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to provide direct patient care and customer service. Duties include, but are not limited to:
The Medical Assistant facilitates communication between internal and external customers.
Compensation:$18.71 Per Hour
Education and Experience Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant Diploma or completion of a United States Armed Forces medical services training program required
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience that meets necessary skills will be considered
- CPR certification required
- Valid fingerprint clearance card required
- Certified Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire
- Reliable transportation to meet operational reassignments during the workday
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance may be required if driving during work hours or for mileage reimbursement
