How you’ll contributeA Radiology Technologist who excels in this role:
- Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Review patient history and physician’s orders.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient’s understanding and cooperation.
- Prepare equipment and supplies.
- Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary.
- Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
- Analyze results and identify issues with the quality of imaging results.
- Take appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures.
- Enter, transmit, and report scan results.

Applicants should have an associate’s degree. Additional requirements include:
- Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology.
- BLS.
- Current license American Association of Radiologic Technologists.
