Dental Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to support dentists and dental hygienists in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves chair-side assistance,patient preparation, and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinicoperations.

Compensation: $39,868 - $48,838

• Assist providers during dental procedures, includingpositioning, passing instruments, suctioning, and patient instruction.
• Prepare and process intra-oral and panoramicradiographs; take preliminary impressions and prepare models.
• Record patient vital signs, maintain updatedtreatment plans, and complete accurate documentation in EDR/EHR systems.
• Sterilize instruments, stock operatories, and maintain infection control protocols.
• Facilitate patient flow, including directing patients, scheduling follow-ups, and assisting with prior authorizations.
• Support inventory management, laboratory servicetracking, and communication between providers and patients.
• Operate dental equipment safely and report malfunctions.
• Travel to clinic locations, work extended hours or assigned weekends as needed.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of dental assistant experience orone of the following:
• Dental assistant diploma from an accredited school
• NELDA Certificate from DANB
• Registered Dental Assistant certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card (within 3 months ofhire).
• DANB Radiation Health and Safety Certification(enrolled within 90 days, certified within 1 year).
• Coronal Polish Certification (enrolled within 90days, certified within 6 months).
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance iftravel between locations is required.
