Mechanical Designer

As part of the development of our entity Abylsen Italy, specialized in Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant), Energy and IT, we are looking for a  Mechanical Designer  in the Automation Sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

What is the challenge?

MAIN

ACTIVITIES:

Develop mechanical designs for individual pieces of equipment integrated into automatic systems of various types and complexity, with particular attention to issues of functionality, assembly and maintenance.
Manage and develop layouts for automatic systems, working in a team and/or coordinating the work as project manager.
Manage internal testing and inspection of special equipment, following the development of the prototype through to the final design.
Carry out site visits to perform preliminary analyses prior to plant design, to directly monitor certain stages of installation and, if necessary, analyze and resolve any issues that arise during plant testing.

REQUIREMENTS :
Degree in  Engineering  (Mechanical and/or Automation) or Physics/Mathematics
At least 3 year of experience as Mechanical Designer
Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD design systems such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
Good knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEM) theory and the software that uses it
Knowledge of document archiving management systems
Knowledge of simulation platforms such as Matlab/Automod
Fluency in  Italian  and  English
