Key
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Set up and operate multi‑axis CNC turning and/or milling machines with minimal supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and operation sheets, including GD&T
- Perform first piece and in‑process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial gauges
- Hold tight tolerances in complex precision machining environments
- Document inspection results and job data within the ERP system
- Follow all quality procedures related to machine setup, inspection, documentation, and material handling
- Troubleshoot machining processes and make necessary adjustments
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 3–5 years of CNC multi‑axis turning or milling experience including full set‑up and troubleshooting
- Experience in aerospace or precision component manufacturing preferred
- Strong background in blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation
- Proven ability to independently set up and run complex machining jobs
- Experience performing first article and in‑process inspections
- Familiarity with ERP systems for production documentation
- Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive, solutions‑oriented attitude
