Position OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced Senior Industrial/Process Engineer to play a key role in driving operational excellence, cost accuracy, and efficiency across a multi‑site manufacturing organization. This role blends analytical expertise, hands‑on process engineering, and leadership—supporting strategic quoting, guiding improvement initiatives, and shaping best‑in‑class manufacturing performance.
Operational Cost Strategy- Build, refine, and maintain detailed cost models for both new and existing products.
- Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to develop accurate, competitive customer quotations.
- Continuously validate cost assumptions by comparing estimates to real production data, adjusting standards to ensure ongoing accuracy.
- Conduct systematic time studies, workflow assessments, and labor utilization analyses to uncover improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross‑functional continuous improvement efforts and promote lean methodologies across departments.
- Support seamless new product introductions by coordinating the transition from quote to full‑scale production.
- Identify and recommend automation, tooling upgrades, and equipment enhancements that elevate efficiency and reduce cost.
- Present high‑level reporting and insights to leadership on cost performance, quote accuracy, and improvement priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline is strongly preferred (Proven experience in lieu of degree may be considered)
- 5-10+ years of experience in industrial engineering, cost estimating, or process optimization within manufacturing operations. (May consider less experience for for a lower pay)
- Strong command of time studies, cost modeling, lean/CI tools, and process engineering fundamentals.
- Proven ability to lead projects, mentor others, and deliver measurable improvements.
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP environments, estimating systems, and advanced Excel.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
