Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to multiple plant leadership teams
  • Lead full-cycle talent management across sites, including workforce planning, recruiting strategy, succession planning, and retention initiatives
  • Drive employee relations strategy, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and manufacturing-specific regulations
  • Support union and/or non-union environments (as applicable), including labor relations strategy and contract interpretation
  • Partner with operations to improve engagement, reduce turnover, and strengthen frontline leadership capability
  • Lead training & development initiatives, including supervisor coaching, leadership training, and performance programs
  • Oversee HR metrics and reporting (turnover, absenteeism, headcount planning, etc.) and provide actionable insights to leadership
  • Manage and develop on-site HR staff (HR Generalists / HR Coordinators)
  • Ensure consistent policy implementation and standardization across multiple locations
  • Support change management initiatives related to growth, acquisitions, automation, or operational improvements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment (CPG strongly preferred)
  • Experience supporting multiple sites or a large, complex facility
  • Strong employee relations and investigation experience
  • Experience in union environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with plant leadership
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance
  • Experience with workforce analytics and HRIS systems
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Ability to travel between sites as needed
