Industrial Recyclers/Recycled Polymer Solutions is a leading producer of reprocessed plastic resin, committed to sustainability, performance, and innovation in the recycling industry. Our mission is to provide high-quality, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible plastic materials for a wide range of manufacturing applications.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships in the polyolefin resin market, with a strong emphasis on both virgin and reprocessed polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) materials.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical knowledge, industry relationships, and sales acumen to support our growth in key sectors including packaging, consumer goods, automotive, and industrial applications.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in the injection molding market and other converting sectors, including packaging, industrial goods, and consumer products.
  • Promote and sell virgin (prime) and reprocessed (recycled, off-grade, wide-spec) with a concentration in polyolefins based on customer requirements for processing, performance, and sustainability.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer applications, especially in injection molding, to recommend the most suitable materials.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and leveraging market intelligence.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers regarding resin properties, processing conditions, and performance characteristics, particularly for injection molding applications.
  • Develop customized solutions for clients by aligning their product needs with resin supply options (e.g., off-grade, wide-spec, PCR, PIR).
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Track and communicate market trends, resin pricing, and competitive activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts, customer interactions, and CRM updates.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

  • Existing network within plastics processors, molders, or compounders.
  • Experience with both commodity and engineering‑grade resins.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Polymer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5+ years of experience in resin sales, plastics distribution, or technical account management, preferably with a focus on injection molding or polyolefins.
  • Strong understanding of PE/PP resin grades (including reprocessed materials) and their performance in injection molding applications.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA compliance, PCR, PIR, ISCC certification).
  • Ability to travel as needed (approx. 20–40%) to visit clients, attend industry events, and support key accounts.
