Description:

The Infusion RN is a crucial member of the cancer care team.
This position involves working in the infusion area.
The role focuses on delivering professional oncology nursing care.
Adherence to cancer care policies and nursing procedures is essential.
The RN will ensure compliance with quality improvement objectives and safety standards.

Duties include assessment of health history and addressing physician orders.
The position involves performing in-office procedures and providing patient and family education.
The RN will administer chemotherapy and manage cancer symptoms.
Monitoring patients' physical and emotional well-being is a key responsibility.
The RN acts as the primary conduit of communication with patients.
They will relay patient information and feedback to physicians.
Providing direct nursing care, including triage of patient care needs, is also part of the role.
The oncology registered nurse applies clinical knowledge and judgment to address patient care issues.
Additional duties may be assigned by leadership.
