Join Our Amazing Team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)Are you a passionate and skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a rural healthcare setting? Join us in providing exceptional care and support for patients in need. Here’s what you can expect:
- Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including:
- Triage, assessment, treatment, and stabilization
- Respond to trauma activations, medical emergencies, and urgent care needs
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions per protocol
- Operate and assist with emergency equipment like cardiac monitors, defibrillators, and ventilators
- Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Educate patients and families about care, treatment plans, and follow-up steps
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Required:
- Current RN license in the state of practice (or compact license)
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Preferred:
- Emergency, ICU, or acute care nursing experience
- PALS and TNCC certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in rural or critical access hospital settings
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move patients as needed
- Ability to thrive in high-stress, fast-paced emergency situations
- On-call or callback responsibilities may be required
