Clinical Deputy Manager

Salary Up To £49,920 Per Annum - Depending On Experience.

Permanent - 40 hours per week.

Job Description

Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

You'll help us make health happen by:

  • Overseeing and assisting all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
  • Creating and updating individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate and up‑to‑date medication records.
  • Ensuring adequate staffing levels through efficient management of rotas.
  • Providing day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents’ independence, choice and dignity.
  • Building lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community within the home.
  • Creating and developing relationships with local partners to raise the care home’s profile in the local area and beyond.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed for This Role
  • Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN and a genuine commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and continuing professional development.
  • Understanding of the benefits that high‑quality nursing care brings to residents’ lives, championing independence, choice and dignity.
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control and care planning.
  • Effective communicator who can build honest relationships with residents and their families.
  • Natural leader who can mentor a team, delegate effectively and promote excellent customer service.
  • Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
  • Respectful, compassionate team player committed to giving personal best.
