Salary: £12.60 - £13.60 per hour (depending on experience)

Abbotsleigh Mews is a purpose‑built care home welcoming those in need of nursing, residential and dementia care. Short stay, convalescence and palliative care are also available. The facility is arranged into different houses for varying types of care, surrounded by landscaped grounds, and offers residents lounge, dining, sensory and activity rooms. Residents receive nutritious, individualized meals, and a versatile activities programme keeps them independent for as long as possible.

• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care.
• Observe and manage residents’ behaviour, documenting and reporting any changes in accordance with legislation.
• Support residents’ nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging and assisting them to eat and drink according to their care plan.
• Provide essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities, both in groups and individually.
• Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements.

• Motivation, positivity, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Desirable: previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification.
