Position OverviewClinical Deputy Manager at Sidcup Care Home, 2 - 8 Hatherley Road, Sidcup, DA14 4BG
.
Salary up to £49,920 per annum – depending on experience.
Permanent – 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Occasional night visits or weekend work may be required.

- Oversee and assist all aspects of nursing care and activities within the home.
- Create and update individual care plans for residents, maintaining clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date medication records.
- Ensure correct staffing levels are maintained through efficient management of rotas.
- Provide day‑to‑day support and guidance to the team, promoting residents' independence, choice, and dignity.
- Build lasting relationships with residents and their families, fostering a sense of community.
- Develop strong relationships with local partners, liaising to raise the care home’s profile.
Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin and commitment to the NMC Codes of Conduct.
- Demonstrated ability to champion independence, choice, and dignity by delivering high‑quality care.
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of tissue viability, infection control, and care planning.
- Effective communicator, building strong, honest relationships with residents and families.
- Natural leader – ready to share clinical experience, mentor, delegate, and promote excellent customer service.
- Excellent time‑management, prioritising workload effectively.
- Respectful, compassionate team player who gives personal best.
