Lecturer teaching across a range of undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends.

• Plan, deliver and assess student work ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
• Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
• Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
• Keep up to date with latest developments in the field and student support practices.
• Work towards defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.

• Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
• Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• Experience of accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records.
• Work well under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills.
• Able to work with diverse groups of people.

• Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
• Experience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalent.
