Senior Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester Required in Sidcup, Kent

Join our client’s family-run German-branded car garage in Sidcup, Kent, where expertise is paired with a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. They are currently seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their dedicated automotive workshop team, specialising in German vehicles and providing top-quality service to their loyal customers.

• Role:
  Senior Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (1‑hour lunch, with the option to leave early after half an hour), plus Saturdays on a rotational basis (8:30 am to 1:00 pm)
• Workshop Size:
  Equipped with 4 ramps and staffed by 3 technicians; an experienced technician is required to expand the team
• Tools:
  Access to all main dealer tools and scanners for accurate diagnostics and repairs

• Competitive Salary: £38,000 to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
• Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays

• Prior
  
  Experience:
  
  Knowledge of BMW, Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes Benz, Bentley, Porsche preferred
• Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years post‑apprenticeship as a Vehicle Technician
• Skills:
  
  Ability to service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of vehicles, including heavy mechanics like timing chains and gearboxes
• MOT Licence:
  Valid MOT test licence or testing capability desirable or be willing to be put through your MOT testing qualification to help your new employer
• Tools:
  Own set of mechanics tools and skilled in vehicle diagnostics
