The Best Connection is looking for an Environmental Technician for one of our well-established clients in the Telford area, focused on waste management facilities.
As an Environmental Technician
, you will be responsible for:
- Data entry
- Collecting and testing air, water, and soil samples
- Maintaining monitoring equipment, performing site checks, and some manual work
- Preparing technical reports on pollution, waste, and contamination
The role requires previous experience in a similar role
, proficiency in Excel
, and confidence using computer systems. Due to the location, candidates must have their own transport
.
Working hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
. This is potentially a temp-to-perm role
, with a starting pay rate of £12.21 per hour and a pay increase after the probation period
.
