Salary – £29,750 basic + up to 20% optional bonus

OverviewCarlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK, home to iconic beers and soft drinks such as Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence, Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy. The business operates six production facilities and sixteen logistics depots across the UK.
What You’ll DoAs a Customer Development Executive you will work with a Regional Sales Manager to drive sales of the Beers, Ciders and Soft Drinks portfolio by maximising brand availability and visibility across Symbol and Independent stores. Your main responsibilities include:
- Building outstanding relationships with convenience store owners and understanding their needs and local consumers.
- Taking a full‑category selling approach to grow every outlet you manage.
- Creating and executing a winning territory business plan that maximises sales opportunities and market share.
- Using data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice across the team.
- Adapting quickly to challenges and demonstrating resilience and a growth mindset.
- Fun, passionate, driven, and a target‑oriented team player.
- Entrepreneurial style who thrives on being the key contact for customers and driving new business.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in Direct Sales, Convenience, FMCG or similar.
- Excellent administration, organisational and planning skills; commercially astute with strong negotiation techniques.
- Self‑motivated, IT and social‑media literate.
- Full valid manual driving licence (no more than six points or previous bans); all offers subject to successful DVLA licence check.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and able to commute within 60 minutes of the role location.
- Competitive starting salary of £29,750 and a 20% quarterly bonus based on target achievement.
- Company vehicle and fuel card.
