We’re all about getting people outdoors, providing high-quality learning, and encouraging positive wellbeing. Since 1943, Field Studies Council has created inspiring outdoor learning opportunities for all ages – from school children to adult learners – helping everyone connect with and care for the environment.

Housekeeping will be at the heart of your role, keeping our visitor spaces clean, tidy, and ready for guests. This includes:

• Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
• Preparing rooms for guests, including making beds, providing towels, and restocking tea/coffee facilities
• Ensuring public areas such as corridors and classrooms are neat, tidy, and well-presented

You may also be asked to support our catering team. This could involve:

• Setting up the dining room for meals
• Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation and service
• Keeping the dining, kitchen, and tea/coffee areas clean and stocked

Our centre is always busy, so we value team members who are happy to help wherever they’re needed.
