Maintenance Engineer
Telford
£47,327 basic
Permanent Days – Monday to Friday
33 Days Holiday
Weekend Overtime Available (Paid at Premium Rates)
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
Overtime is available on Saturdays and Sundays, paid at enhanced rates depending on hours worked.
About the Company
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established heavy industrial manufacturer specialising in the metal treatment. The company supplies treated steel products to a range of sectors including automotive, engineering, and industrial manufacturing.
The site focuses on chemical treatment processes for steel, improving durability, hardness, and corrosion resistance to meet customer specifications. The facility operates a range of industrial equipment including heat treatment furnaces, quench systems, conveyors, and automated handling equipment.
They are currently seeking an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer who holds a Level 3 engineering qualification to support the reliability and performance of plant equipment across the site.

Requirements
* Minimum 3 years’ experience working as an electrically biased maintenance engineer
* Level 3 engineering qualification (Electrical or Multi-skilled)
* Experience with in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments is advantageous
* Ability to work confidently with electrical schematics, three-phase systems, sensors, contractors, drives and control systems
* Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance skills
