Machine/Assembly Operator

Location: Hortonwood, Telford

Pay: £12.85 an hour (going up to £13.30 after 12 weeks)

Shifts: Rotating weekly - 6am-2pm one week, 2pm-10pm the next or vice versa

About Us: Company has been making top-quality car parts in Telford, working with big brands like BMW and Jaguar Land Rover.

• Running, setting up, and keeping an eye on different manufacturing machines.
• Putting together parts to build bigger assemblies or finished products - this work moves quickly and can be repetitive.
• Checking the quality of what you make and helping with basic fixes or cleaning if needed.
• Looking over technical instructions such as jigs.
• Keeping your area tidy and safe and following health & safety rules.
• Recording what you have done and flagging any issues.
• Supporting your team so you hit your daily targets together.

• Some experience in manufacturing or working with machines is a plus, but if you're a quick learner, we want to hear from you.
• Good with your hands and able to use hand/power tools.
• Happy working on your feet and able to lift when needed.
• Great attention to detail - you care about getting things right.
