Contract: Initial 3 months (strong potential to extend)

This is a hands‑on Project Manager opportunity for someone with mechanical or capital equipment experience who can step in, take ownership, and help steady a busy project portfolio during a peak period.

We’re looking for a confident Project Manager who thrives in technical environments and enjoys working collaboratively.

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll manage engineering projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. You’ll also support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading projects from pre‑contract through delivery and client sign‑off
• Supporting and advising other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams
• Attending and reporting at pre‑ and post‑contract meetings with clients
• Managing procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value
• Expediting suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones
• Ensuring construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files
• Supporting tendering activities with lead‑time input and project costing insight
• Producing monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons‑learned reviews
• Assisting with client invoicing where required

About You

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL
• Able to hit the ground running in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong communicator with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
