Overview
The Anticoagulation team at Pathology, The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is looking for a Band 6 Nurse Specialist to provide telephone dosing advice and a nurse‑led anticoagulation service.
Responsibilities- Provide telephone dosing advice to patients, complying with national guidelines.
- Lead the anticoagulation service for patients referred to Haematology.
- Promote effective communication between patients, the laboratory and referring clinicians, ensuring best possible care and advice.
- Demonstrate specialist knowledge on all aspects of anti‑coagulation.
Full training and development package can be offered.
