Component Project Engineer

Onsite: 5 days per week

The role will focus on the verification and validation needs of powertrain products for primarily the defence land systems segment.

• Experience in a similar technical role, ideally with engine, transmission, or driveline development experience.
• Experience in product testing of either components or complete assemblies.
• Between 2 years and 5 years’ experience desirable. (Hence rate range)
• Creating test plans (DVP&R) to validate components / assemblies – V&V, APQP, FMEA, CAD, CREO4
• Run rig / dyno tests on components / assemblies and produce technical reports covering findings.
• Conduct data analysis on test results using hand calculations and / or relevant simulation software as needed.
• Anyone with military vehicle experience would be highly desirable but not a must have.

Major aluminium and cast-iron castings, geartrain, valve train, drivetrain and in-cylinder components. Components related to breather, cooling & lubrication systems, FEAD systems
