Senior Controls Engineer

Days (Monday - Friday) 9am - 5pm

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000 + Pen + Car Allowance + Bens

Location:

Telford Hybrid, 3 days on site, 2 from home

My Client is one of the UK's leading systems integrators providing automation and continuous improvement solutions to a variety of industries including steel, paper, and automotive. Established for over 25 years with a worldwide presence, the group has gone from strength to strength over the last decade to become centre of excellence within the industry they specialise in. Due to further expansion within the British market, they are looking to add to their engineering projects team.

• Minimum Degree Level in Electrical/Electronic
• Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery
• Drives Experience

• Understanding client requirements.
• Electrical / controls concept design including Functional Design Specification, Safety Requirements Specification, Single Line Diagram, Network Topology, Device Layout, Cause & Effect Matrix, Safety Block Diagram, etc.
• Handover to the Hardware Design team and review of designs produced.
• Software Design, including Software Design Specification and production of Software / Configuration deliverables for e.g PLC, HMI, SCADA, Robot, Drives etc.
• Maintenance of the Technical Construction File.
• Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Commissioning and Site Acceptance Testing.
• Comply with relevant industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards.
• Meet project milestones.
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement
