What you’ll do
  • Deliver Technical Training to Aquila Air Traffic Engineers on various Surveillance Radar, Navigational Aids and Air Traffic Communication equipment.
  • Develop existing training courses and create innovative and engaging technical training.
  • Create supporting training documentation, following the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) and JSP 822.
  • Support the maintenance of the training aids.
  • Travel to other sites to provide training.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven technical experience, ideally from within the Royal Air Force Air Traffic Engineering domain (Trade Group 3/4). Hold existing training qualifications or be willing to undertake instructor development training.
  • Experience in delivering technical training with a proven record in engineering‑based subjects, ideally with a bias towards Air Traffic Management Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to deliver engaging remote and face‑to‑face presentations and technical training.
