We're partnering with a forward-thinking organisation in Shrewsbury seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team. This is a hands‑on role, providing technical expertise across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and critical business systems, ensuring the smooth operation and security of the company's IT environment.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will take ownership of the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. You will work on projects, day‑to‑day support, and optimisation initiatives, helping the business leverage technology effectively and securely.

• Manage, maintain, and support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and related infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Implement and support virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Assist with IT projects such as migrations, upgrades, and new technology deployments.
• Monitor systems, networks, and servers to ensure uptime, performance, and security.
• Document systems, processes, and configurations accurately.
